VUSCICHÈ SS23: RIPPLE
Vuscichè, born in Abruzzo in 2020, with the SS23 - its second collection - carries on and consolidates its circular supply chain fashion project and the reworking of local traditions with a straight look towards the future.
The SS 23: Ripple, draws inspiration from an essential and increasingly precious good, water. The volumes, the cuts and the seams refer to the effect on the water, after the launch of a smooth stone. Raw fabrics, garment-dyed regenerated cotton, regenerated damasks, cupro, cotton nets, linen fabrics, and natural Italian gauze, to which is added jacquard linen woven, based on an original design, made in Abruzzo. The colors are white, charcoal, seaweed green, combined with black and silver.
Ripple is a composition of shapes, which change and overlap like waves that chase each other. The base is lingerie with a zip, overlaid with knitwear dresses in cotton and lurex viscose, and outerwear in linen and antique canvas. The details of the zips are visible and oversized, memories of vintage corsetry with cuts from contrasting thread covers.
Vuscica— Vuscichi — Vusciche means to mix vigorously in dialect, the declination changes according to the country where you go in Abruzzo. The name fully reflects the brand’s mission: to mix fabrics with the contemporary, through new processes that make the product 100% circular.
